Some of you may read my monthly articles in the Algarve Resident and of course the online version on the group’s Portugal Resident Website.
Today, I have renewed for 2019, so keep a look out for my articles in the edition out on the last week of each month and of course, I’ll continue to post links when they appear online. The biggest challenge I find with writing these articles is the topic, if you have any requests for any articles, please let me know!
Many thanks to all those that have booked and look forward to sharing what I hope to be a great experience from the nature element and also Photography element of the morning.
For those that are attending, if you have any questions before the morning, please feel free to contact me.
If you were hoping to attend but missed out on this one, keep an eye out for more dates.
Of course, don’t forget to sign up to my Mailing List to keep up to date.
You may remember a film I created back in the summer called “Consequência – Depois dos incêndios” showing the destruction caused by the Monchique Wildfires.
Last week I was contacted by a film company who is making a new documentary titled “Tudo é Paisagem” (“Everything is Landscape”) about the History of Landscape Architecture in Portugal. This has been commissioned by the Associação Portuguesa dos Arquitectos Paisagistas (Portuguese Association of Landscape Architects).
Yesterday we agreed terms and I have supplied various shots for inclusion in their documentary. As you can imagine, I’m pretty excited about this collaboration.
I will share more information at a later date, but for now if you haven’t watched my film from back in August you can view it below;
Some of you may already know that recently I launched my new photography venture, FotoSul. I have always said that I’d never photograph something I didn’t enjoy. Weddings for instance, it would be my worst nightmare and I totally respect anyone who shoots in this field! So when I decided to look into Real Estate photography I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it, however, the challenges involved in working with geometry in small spaces and very difficult lighting situations is something I very much find exciting.
I have been asked many times if I offer Post-Editing Workshops, until now it is something I have only considered. This consideration is now becoming more of a reality and I will soon be offering a new Introduction to Adobe Lightroom Workshop. This workshop will provide you with enough of an introduction to enable you to further improve your photography. I would recommend attending a Digital Photography Fundamentals Workshop prior to this but not necessary.
