Please remember, the photographs you are viewing are optimised for web use and have lower resolutions, therefore, they are not a direct comparison to the print.  When processing, I use calibrated monitors to ensure the prints will be exact colours seen on my monitors. Therefore, on consumer devices (monitors, tablets, phones etc.), colours may not reflect the prints exactly (but not a huge difference). The quality, colour and detail of an actual print will always be far superior to the website photograph. If possible, why not visit my display in Alvor?

Luster Paper Printing

To ensure quality and perfect colour replication, I print my own photographs right here in Portimão.  I use a Canon Professional Printer with genuine Canon “Luster” paper and genuine Canon Inks.  This applies to all A5, A4 and A3 Prints, all other paper sizes are sent to my trusted 3rd party printing company which prints to my standards. Luster paper is the perfect balance between glossy and matte papers.  This semi-gloss paper ensures incredible colours but doesn’t have glare issues associated with glossy paper. The combination of a professional quality printer, Canon Luster Paper and genuine Canon Ink ensures the print for life (Terms and Conditions apply).

The following available media is printed by a carefully selected print company that I trust to deliver my prints in my exact specifications resulting in perfect representation of my work.

Acrylic Prints

Acrylic printing is an expensive process and I use a trusted 3rd party company to produce them to quality and replication standards. The image is printed onto a high-quality 5mm thick sheet of acrylic using 7 colour printing.  An opaque film is then affixed to the rear of the print.  Acrylics come complete with subframe, ready to hang.

Canvas Prints

Canvas printing is a very popular stylish alternative to photographic paper. The canvas used is a fine 260g/m2, 35% cotton, 65% polyester fabric with high quality latex printing. The fabric is professionally stretched on a 2cm solid wood frame and comes complete with hangers ready to be hung on screws or nails. To ensure the image is not cropped, the edges are mirrored and only the folded part of the print contains the mirrored portion.

Metal Prints

Metal printing provides something very different, 7-colour UV direct printing onto a matte aluminium composite panel providing incredible sharpness and resolution. One big benefit of metal printing is that it is weather and sun resistant and can be used inside or outside. The panel is 3mm thick, consisting of a lightweight polyethylene core sandwiched by two composite aluminium panels.

Gallery Acrylic Prints

Gallery Acrylics are a combination of thinner, 2mm acrylic mounted on a 3mm aluminium frame similar to the metal prints, retaining the overall 5mm thickness of the arcylic prints. This offers a different visual alternative to acrylic printing and gives the option of much larger sizes. The same 7-coloured ink is used and the quality is the same.

PVC Foam Board Prints

Another format which offers something different, PVC Foamboards are available in either 5mm or 10mm thickness. 7-colour printing creates ultimate sharpness and resolution and the boards. One big benefit of PVC Foamboard printing is that it is weather and sun resistant and can be used inside or outside and is practical in bathrooms or other damp locations.

Genuine Prints and 3rd Party Licensed Images

Although I am very protective over my art, selected work is also made available to 3rd parties under license. This includes usage for printing and also use in media. The delivery and printing of these works is beyond my quality control. Therefore only art sold directly by me and my authorised outlets will include my signature digitally embedded into the image.
